$KYLE was created to develop an accountability system for myself. No idea why, but seeing the numbers like this and “gamifying” it makes it a lot more fun too. I know that I need to continue to grow each day and each week if I want to end up in a place I want to be. Even if it’s just +1% every week, I know I’ll be able to create the life that I want.

I’ve determined how to score each important metric and this system will serve its purpose as long as I remain consistent.

Keep up with my progress by subscribing to these Weekly Power Score Recaps

Each week, I score my output on 6 different pillars:

  • Career
  • Health
  • Twitter
  • Investing
  • LinkedIn
  • Publishing

*listed in the order they were added to the index

**Explanations of each category + metric will be published on 12Thirty1, I just don’t know when I’m going to do that yet. 🙂

For now, this is just for me. I need to stay on track and find a system that works for ME so I can minimize the days where I feel like I’m stagnant or unproductive.

📈 Power Score Update

This Week’s Total Power Score: 180.36 — 🎉🍾

Last Week’s Total Power Score: 151.24

🟢 Weekly Growth: 19.25%

📝 Second week in a row with around 20% improvement. I know this upcoming week is going to be a mammoth because I don’t have the same amount of “at home” time as I have in the previous weeks. I do not care as long as I beat that 180.36 score. That’s why I built this thing. Need to quit stressing out about the things I can’t control and just hammer home the things I can.

Movement:

*(this / last)

🟢 Gainers:

  • Career (63.3 / 43.5)
  • LinkedIn (8.581 / 8.461)
  • Twitter (18 / 17)
  • Investing (14 / 13)

🔴 Losers:

  • Health (32.37 / 63.55)
  • Publishing (5.79 / 26.73)

◻️ Stayed the same:

  • None

📝 Los Angeles weekends are obviously not helping me. I do think it was very, very important though because we spent a ton of time with some of our closest friends and you just can’t measure that. Not like I can put “# of minutes spent with loved ones” on this sheet LOL. Also obvious to see which two categories suffer when I’m away. Just can’t automate health and writing. I’ll be better.

➡️ Going forward:

📝 Lol this week is also a very short week. We just got back from LA last night at 1:00 am and are driving to Key Largo this Thursday (so like two days).

I need a better routine/plan to workout while I’m away from home. That’s what throws me off the rails. I need to be better about using the at-home equipment I have and take it with me on trips.

This week, I’m going to be more active on social (for business purposes). I believe that just “showing up” is enough to move mountains and I haven’t even been showing up the way I want to lately. That needs to change.

*report typos to me immediately, please 🙂
