TikTok

Last night was picture day for my family. The photographer was scheduled to be there at 7:00pm, but I asked everyone to show up an hour and a half early for a little project I wanted to do.

I pasted the direct link from TikTok and didn’t know it was going to show up like this — pretty cool lol

I saw a few… well, more than a few I guess. I saw more than a few people doing their own versions of this TikTok trend and I couldn’t get the song out of my head. I loved it. I had everyone show up a bit early to get some of the shots and then spent about 3 hours editing the video to get it to this point. And I was irrationally nervous to post it on my socials.

I’m not a videographer or even a photographer so I knew it was going to be challenging for me, but I enjoyed that process FAR more than I thought I was going to. I also thought the video would be a little better—the timing of the beats and such—but I am actually really happy with how it turned out. I’ve watched it at least 107 times today. Hopefully I can put my f*cking phone down tomorrow lol.

This post isn’t about anything really… I just wanted to keep my writing habit going and it’s really the only thing that’s been on my mind today.
