Scrape emails
IMO, if you’re going to continue to run Facebooks ads you could find a way to scrape the emails of all the businesses you want to do business with
(Some people have reservations about scraping contact info but it’s all being scraped from publicly available info)
Build custom audience
Next, take that list of emails and create a custom audience inside Facebook’s Ads Manager
Use only that custom audience as your targeting for your ads
This way you can guarantee that your ads is ONLY ever being seen by people you’d love to do business with
It takes the guesswork out of your targeting
Why your ads might not be converting
Your ads may not have converted due to a number of reasons like:
- Subpar targeting
- Landing page experience
- Lack of brand awareness
If you use custom audiences like this
If you use custom audiences in this way, you:
- Remove guesswork from targeting
- Make your marketing dollars stretch further
It’ll cost less to stay in front of the right people for longer if you’re only focusing on the *right* people (if you use Facebook’s targeting options, you’ll inevitably have a lot of people outside your target audience)
Facebook’s targeting is great overall but does get tricky with B2B
Naturally gain trust and credibility with your audience
If you can stay in front of the right people for long enough, you’ll eventually start to earn their trust and gain credibility (I believe this is achieved through the mere exposure effect)
Again, a ton of great insight here but this is something that has worked for me and is def (imo) worth a look
