I’m launching a software company

Yes, really. I’m going to be launching a software company. It’s not entirely original, but I’m going to make it unique to me and my vision.

Long story short, it’s white-label software. But I believe it fills a serious need that I can capitalize on. I’m able to work towards my own goals while filling a gap in small, local businesses. Lead generation + nurturing.

The first industry I’m going after is residential cleaning.

I’m in quite a few different Facebook groups and I see a constant theme — people don’t know how to effectively generate leads for their own businesses. Everyone wants to start a company but no one knows how to bring in any money-making clients.

I helped my mom start her own cleaning company from scratch, grow that same company, and then acquire another in about 5 years. And I plan to lay out everything I have learned in a small online course to help others do the same. It’s really very easy, but to someone who has no idea what to do, it can seem entirely daunting. It’s so easy and I want to show others how they can do it themselves.

We had a lot of different things hooked together to make this lead generation system operate smoothly, but now there’s software that has literally every piece we need. And it’s all under one hood. Now, I can white-label that software and sell it to others. It’s incredible. And I love being part of this.

Because this is just white-label, it means others are selling essentially the same thing. That’s perfectly ok too… because I know it’s profitable and there’s money to be made for me. But, because there are so many other people selling this, I need a way to differentiate myself. I need that differentiator or I will simply compete on price forever and I have absolutely no interest in that. I don’t want the cheap churners anyway. None of those people will ever have the right mindset to grow a company. It just is what it is. So, to differentiate, I’m building this online course. I’m building the thing that sells the thing. 🙂

Or I plan to at least.

I’m also bringing my sister on board. She was managing my mom’s cleaning company until about two months ago (another sister of mine filled the role). Kayla has tremendous knowledge of the cleaning industry and I know she has so much to offer other people who are also starting their own cleaning companies. It’s always better, easier, and more fun to learn from someone who has already done it vs trying to reinvent the wheel.

I’m in the process of building this course right now. I’m building out the slides and piecing everything together in a way that I feel is easiest for other people to learn. I’ve never created a course like this before so there will be a ton of bumps along that way — and that’s ok. There are going to be a ton of bumps along the way building this software company too. But nothing worthwhile is going to come easy. And we’re ready for it. 🙂
